The efficiency of the virtual fence installed on the National Road 1 in Romania


The efficiency of the virtual fence installed on National Road 1 (DN1) was already proven by the lack of wildlife-vehicle collisions. This is supported even more now by the Romanian team who succeeded to capture some videos using the thermal camera. It can be observed that the roe deer hesitated to cross the crowded road, while the fox crossed when it was safe. The monitoring of the virtual fence continues to gather more results.
