Representatives of Universities, National Parks and NGOs of Albania and North Macedonia, visited the Greek project area of LIFE Safe Crossing on the 11th and 12th of December. The scope and the results of the project were presented by the Greek partners and discussed both during a field visit and an indoor presentation. This field visit was part of the Tripoint Brown Bear, a project who aims at the transfer of good practices that improve human-bear coexistence conditions.
The field visit focused on the function of the AVC PS (Animal-Vehicle Collision Prevention System) and to the interventions that were made on 55 underpasses of Egnatia Highway in order to favour their use by wildlife.
This project is funded with the contribution of the LIFE programme of the European Union
