THE LIFE SAFE-CROSSING PROJECT AT THE SKATING RINK “CLARA CAMPOAMOR” (ALMONTE, SPAIN)

Sunday 5th February 2023, in the skating rink "Clara Campoamor" (Almonte), took place the 1st Day of the Andalusian Speed Skating League, "Doñana Patina”,in collaboration with the LIFE SAFE-CROSSING project  There were more than 130 participants, between the categories of Federated and Promotion-Popular.

The participants and the general public were informed on the issue of wildlife-vehicles collisions, and it was explained that it is our responsibility, as drivers, to respect the signs and speed limits. They were also informed about the different actions that LIFE SAFE-CROSSING project is carrying out on the nearby roads to avoid this type of accident.

A sporting day where runners of different categories competed and enjoyed themselves, from mini to senior-master from all over Andalusia, and beautiful opportunity to make everyone aware of the importance of biodiversity conservation.
